The web site is designed to be inviting and something parents will "surf" regularly to see what is NEW. There will be information on up-coming activities in the parent community, GWUL sponsored activities and a Parent Tip Page containing basic information that can be incorporated into their day-to-day life. Our Goal To Help Parents Gain Confidence In Their Child-Rearing Abilities And Increase Their Awareness Of Educational Issues And Services While Fostering The Development Of Parent/School Partnerships In Meeting The Needs Of Children. The Greater Washington Urban League Parent Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
