Best Buy is Accepting Applications

Best Buy will open a new store in the new shopping mall at 14th and Irving Streets, NW, Washington DC. Interested residents should visit an on-going job fair for Best Buy at the NCBA Estates at -2801 14th Street, NW, January 20th through March 5th, Monday - Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to obtain information and/or complete an application online. Available positions include Computer Technicians, Customer Service Reps, Sales Supervisors, Sales Representatives, Stockers, and Inventory Specialists. Full and part time positions are available. The store is expected to open in the spring of 2008.

The Nationals Park (aka "The BallPark") is Hiring

1200+ part-time and seasonal job opportunities are now available at the new baseball park. Jobs are available in the following departments: sales, hospitality, food service, event staff, guest services, and management. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

A job fare will be held on February 9, 2008, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the King-Greenleaf Recreation Center, 201 N Street, SW, Washington, DC. Contact the DC Department of Employment Services for more information.
