Activities Provided

SOC's Discover the World of Communication is open to all high school students grades 9 through 12, including those students entering 9th grade in the fall. Courses include Journalism, 16mm Filmmaking, Intro to Video Game Design, Public Speaking and many more. Subjects are taught by SOC faculty as well as other professional journalists, filmmakers and Web writers and designers. The best part? Hands-on learning is mixed with smart, fresh lectures -- all at an exciting, fast pace.
